Subject: Now Accepting Nominations for the 2026–2027 ARMA Houston Board!

Hello ARMA Houston Members,

It’s that exciting time of year again—nominations are officially open for the 2026–2027 ARMA Houston Chapter Board of Directors!

If you’ve ever thought about stepping into a leadership role, strengthening your professional network, or helping shape the future of our chapter, now is your moment. You may nominate yourself or someone else for the following open positions:

· President

· Executive Vice President

· Treasurer

· Secretary

· Vice President

Nominations will be accepted until close of business on March 15, 2026. Voting will open from April 1 – April 30 and election results shared by May 15.

Serving on the ARMA Houston Board is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to chapter activities, collaborate with fellow leaders, and represent our community within ARMA International. Board members attend monthly board meetings and participate in key chapter events—including the Holiday Social, the Spring Conference, and leadership development activities throughout the year.

  • Be a member in good standing with ARMA Houston for the past three (3) years
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent management and organizational skills
  • Support from the nominee's company for time and effort invested in ARMA activities
  • Ability to serve and represent the Chapter in a professional manner
  • Time necessary to serve as a member of the ARMA Houston Board of Directors
  • Ability to work or direct in a team environment

President

  • Member of ARMA Houston for the prior three (3) years
  • Prior service on the Board of Directors for ARMA Houston within the last five (5) years
  • Enthusiasm to lead and work with a large volunteer organization
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills
  • Ability to think, plan and act strategically
  • Awareness of issues and challenges facing ARMA Houston Chapter and the RIM profession

Executive Vice President

  • Member of ARMA Houston for the prior three (3) years
  • Enthusiasm to lead and work with other Vice Presidents and Committee Managers to accomplish the goals of the Chapter
  • Ability to think, plan and act strategically
  • Awareness of issues and challenges facing ARMA Houston Chapter and the RIM profession

Secretary

  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Awareness of RIM issues
  • Demonstrated team-work experience

Treasurer

  • Financial and budget planning experience
  • Ability to think, plan and act strategically
  • Awareness of issues and challenges facing ARMA Houston chapter and the RIM profession

Vice President

  • Member of ARMA Houston for the prior three (3) years
  • Served as a Committee Manager/Chairperson
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills
  • Ability to think, plan and act strategically
  • Awareness of issues and challenges facing ARMA Houston Chapter and the RIM profession
